Toronto, ON (November 19, 2019) – York9 Football Club is pleased to announce today that the club has signed Canadian Premier League Goalkeeper of the Year Nominee Nathan Ingham to a contract extension through the 2020 CPL season.
“We are happy to bring back one of the best keepers in the league,” said York9 FC Head Coach, Jimmy Brennan. “He was fantastic for us this season and we’re looking forward to working with him. When you build a club, you want a solid keeper which we have with Nate.”
Ingham, 26, was a key player for York9 during its inaugural CPL campaign, playing a major role in helping the club finish third in the overall standings.
In total, the native of Keswick, Ont., made 26 CPL appearances, recording six clean sheets and making a league-high 89 saves.
Ingham was recognized for his stellar play in 2019 when he was named a finalist for the Golden Glove, which goes to the CPL’s best goalkeeper.
